This is one of the most classic specialities of the Asturian pastries, whose origin goes back to the beginning of the last century. Over a time, it has become the most typical pie in the city of Oviedo.

It is produced from a laminated base filled with a creamy almond dough, the counterpoint of cinnamon and lemon, and a final bath in egg yolk and sugar.
